Projects of social economy with which we collaborate

The Social Economy is a way of understanding the economy based on putting the needs of people at the center of the activity. Following this idea, the main goal is not profit per se, but to ensure that the management of the activity and its impact are beneficial, both for the society and for those who take part in it.

More and more projects and initiatives are endorsing this type of economy. In Catalonia, the Social Economy has not stopped growing in recent years, expanding the principles of democratic management, sustainability and social transformation. Thanks to this growth, there are currently options for Social Economy based projects in almost any area (food, supplies, mobility, insurance, leisure, etc.). Summarizing all of them in this space would be impossible, so below we suggest only some of the many initiatives that exist today. These are those with which we collaborate directly from our co-op, as members, partners or friends.

The path of the Social Economy is a way yet to be built, but grows solid, step by step, as more people travel. Therefore, we encourage you to take your step and bet on these initiatives in your day to day!
